Centre Square Montessori Schoolhouse is an institution established in 1972. It is still owned by its founders - Patricia A. McNicholas and Douglas Thomas. The learning center accepts children from 8 weeks of age through PreKindergarten. Centre Square Academy, which is also Montessori, educates children who are Kindergarten age through third grade. Both schools are situated on the same four-acre campus, which is located on historic Skippack Pike in Blue Bell, PA. The programs offered at the institution are designed with the aim of enabling children to progress from stage to stage in a developmental sequence that ensures comfort and security. This creates a family-like setting, stimulating social development and allowing children to progress through a very broad curriculum according to their individual needs. The programs available are Infant, Toddler/Jr. Montessori, Nursery Montessori, Pre K, Kindergarten, Elementary, FasTracKids, Extended Care, and Music.
