Unity College’s grounds were laid back in 1965 with the purpose to make a difference in people’s lives and in the natural world. Unity College consider themselves as leaders in the environmental movement, drawing their efforts on sustainability in the classroom and in the real world. The school is located on 225 wooded acres of farmland overlooking Unity Pond in the village of Unity, Maine. Number of students counts up to 500, which forms a small, friendly community. Majors offered include Art and Environment, Adventure Therapy, Biology, Captive Wildlife Care and Education, Conservation Law Enforcement, Environmental Writing, and other similar subjects. All classes are taught by environmentally-aware faculty and researchers, who are true professionals in their field.
