The University of Almeria is a public university, which was created in 1993. It is situated in Almeria, Spain - on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Today the school has more than 12000 students, 600 of which pursue doctorate degrees. It is composed of seven faculties: Education Science College; Faculty of Health Sciences; Economics and Business Studies College; Experimental Science College; College of Law; College of Humanities; College of Psychology, a School of Engineering, and a Labour Relations School, which is an affiliated center.
UAL participates in various mobility programs, such as ERASMUS, ISEP, Pima, Anuies, and this is why 5% of the student body is international in nature. The school is also proud of its involvement in agriculture, renewable energies, as well as its exceptionally modern infrastructure.
