The University of Castilla-La Mancha is a public university in Spain, offering courses in the cities of Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Toledo, Almadén, Talavera de la Reina, and Puertollano. All of these are decentralized, although Ciudad Real is considered to be the headquarters. The school was established in 1982, and now houses faculties of Medicine, Economic and Business Sciences, Law and Humanities; schools of Agronomical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Nursing, Teacher Training and Employment Relations, as well as Chemical Sciences, Arts, the Higher Technical Schools of Civil Engineering, Information Technology, a Technical Institute of Agriculture, and other related fields. The majority of the student body is pursuing undergraduate degrees, while the number of international students is about 1,000.
