Despite the fact that students can still learn in English, they are also expected to demonstrate familiarity in the Russian language or to take part in a Russian course. Students are also expected to submit a valid passport, HIV negative test and chest x-ray results.
It is important to note that students are not expected to take the TOEFL/IELTS exam to get admission in medical schools in the country.

Studying medicine in Russia takes six years to complete and the country provides a multi cultural environment to the learners.
