Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC) came into existence in 1966, comprising of 4 campuses. The campuses include Owens campus in Georgetown, Delaware, Stanton Campus in Newark, Terry campus in Dover and Wilmington campus in Wilmington. DTCC offers more than 140 academic programs consisting of 48 degree programs and 61 Certificate opportunities. Delaware Technical has a varsity team known as Roadrunners which has both a baseball and softball team. The baseball team was crowned champions in 2001 at the NJCAA Division II World Series.
