Academia Caribe was formed by a group of experienced and dedicated Cuban language teachers, based in Santiago de Cuba. Having gained extensive experience in teaching Spanish as well as owning university degrees, they have put together Homestay Spanish programs and online tuition options for those, who wish to study Spanish and learn more about the Cuban culture. General Spanish is the standard and most popular course offered by Academica Caribe. It provides students with a sound background in the language, developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. There are 15 or 20 classes per week, while students can either stay with a host family or at their teacher’s home.
