Boston University was established in 1839, and is an internationally recognized institution of world-class education and research, based in Boston, USA. More than 7,000 students from the United States and overseas take one of the school’s summer courses; these represent a great number of the university’s degrees and are offered both at the graduate and undergraduate level. In addition, there are the so-called Summer Highlights, which include some specialized courses like foreign languages, travel courses, and music programs. Summer Term is aimed at those who wish to gain further credit towards their education, develop professional expertise, or challenge themselves with new areas of personal development.
