California Baptist University (CBU) is a private Christian university in Riverside, California (United States), about an hour from Los Angeles. Its 162-acre campus is in the historic Magnolia Avenue district. According to the university, it has 12,516 students, including more than 300 international students from 70 countries, and a student-faculty ratio of 20:1. Campus life includes weekly chapel and NCAA Division I sports.
CBU offers more than 80 undergraduate majors and more than 40 graduate programmes, on campus and online, many of them STEM-designated. Its schools include:

- Gordon and Jill Bourns College of Engineering
- College of Nursing and College of Health Science
- Aviation, with a flight school
