Carolina Day School is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory school, serving grades pre-k through 12. The school was established in 1987 and operates in the historic Biltmore Forest neighborhood of Asheville, North Carolina. The institution is made up of The Lower School (pre-kindergarten- fifth grade); The Key School (for bright students in first through eighth grade); The Middle School (sixth- eighth grade); and The Upper School - ninth through twelfth grade. All these receive about 700 students, while the upper school takes special pride in the fact that their students average 200 points higher on SAT scores than state and national averages. Carolina Day School’s graduates go on with their education in the most reputable world universities, and most of them are accepted in their first choice institution.
