The Cégep de La Pocatière is a college (cégep) in the Côte-du-Sud area of Quebec, Canada, with three campuses: La Pocatière, Montmagny and Témiscouata. It started the 2026-27 school year with 1,158 students, an increase of almost 15%. Its continuing education service, Extra formation, offers attestations of college studies (AEC), such as a new AEC in mycotechnologies.
Programmes include pre-university options in natural sciences (regular, life and health sciences, and science and engineering profiles), social sciences (several profiles), and arts, letters and communication (languages or media), as well as technical programmes such as animal health, engineering physics technology, business administration, computer science, stage production and special education.
International students can apply with the college's initial application form or independently through the SRACQ, and then obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and, if needed, a Canadian study permit; the passport must be valid for the whole period of study. In the current admission cycle, applications open on 1 September 2026, with deadlines of 1 February 2027 (non-French citizens) and 1 May 2027 (French citizens). The La Pocatière campus has residences for up to 413 people inside the main building and in shared apartments nearby; the Montmagny and Témiscouata campuses have no residences, but staff help students find housing.
