CELT Institute of Education

The Centre for English Language Teaching (CELT) is located within the University of Sterling - a campus university in Scotland, established in 1967. CELT makes available a good variety of English language courses, such as General English, Pre-sessional English, an English Language Summer School in August, and English plus Sport (for closed groups by special arrangement). Furthermore, CELT offers in-sessional support to Stirling students during the semesters. Degree programs are offered, too. These include MSc TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), MSc TESOL and CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), MSc TESOL and Applied Linguistics, and MSc Translation Studies and TESOL. The atmosphere is truly international, with students coming from a lot of different countries, and staff being exceptionally friendly.
