Chicago–Kent College of Law is the law school affiliated with the Illinois Institute of Technology in the USA. The institution has established a reputable name because of the accomplishments of its students and faculty. It is the second oldest law school in the state of Illinois. The LL.M. Program in International and Comparative Law offered by the institution is a one-year, full-time program aimed at foreign lawyers and law graduates, who would like to obtain better knowledge and understanding of the American legal system as well as the international legal issues. The LL.M. Program in International and Comparative Law cannot be accessed by attorneys holding a J.D. degree from an American law school. The program offers great flexibility in the choice of law courses as well as the opportunity to conduct independent research. Students enrolled in the program attend courses and seminars along with J.D. students and can take advantage of the school's expertise in areas such as information technology law, e-commerce and financial services law.
