Colexio Plurilingüe Guillelme Brown is a school in Galicia run as a Galician cooperative society (sociedade cooperativa galega) since 1987. It teaches the second cycle of infant education, primary education and compulsory secondary education (ESO). The school aims for its pupils to become competent in English, French, Spanish and Galician, and its pupil profile also stresses the scientific method, technology, teamwork, critical thinking, autonomy and healthy habits, including sport.
Admission follows the procedure of the Xunta de Galicia. The application form can be collected at the school or downloaded from the Xunta's website and handed in at the school chosen as first option, or submitted online through the admisionalumnado application, together with copies of identity documents and a school certificate from the previous school. Applications are made in March. When there are more applicants than places, priority criteria apply, such as siblings at the school, proximity of the family home or workplace, large or single-parent families, family income and disability.
