The Community College of Vermont was founded in 1970. CCV focuses on student learning and its expertise lies in working with adults. CCV is an open college as the college does not have a main campus with housing facilities. Therefore, the institution operates academic hubs at 12 different locations in Vermont as well as online classes. The students may enroll for a single course or full time study as they please. CVV offers associate degrees, career related certificates and credit & non-credit training programs. The curriculum revolves around liberal arts, business, human resources, technology and health. CVV is the most affordable college in Vermont as it offers $214 per credit for Vermonter’s students and $ 428 for out of state students. CVV also offers two study abroad programs per year. CVV is endorsed by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges
