The Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" de València (CSMV) is a higher music conservatory in Valencia and one of the centres that depend on the ISEACV. It teaches the Grado in higher arts education in music, regulated by the Spanish law on higher arts education (Ley 1/2024), in the following areas:
- Composition and Conducting
- Performance: harp, voice, harpsichord, guitar, organ, piano, jazz, symphony orchestra instruments and traditional and popular instruments
- Musicology and Pedagogy
- Sonology
- Music Production and Management
Students in Performance and Pedagogy complete external placements. At postgraduate level the CSMV offers a Master's in Operatic Performance for solo opera singers; its Master's in Musical Performance and Performative Research is being phased out and takes no new students.
Admission requires the Bachillerato (or an equivalent route) and passing a speciality-specific entrance test; applicants aged 16 to 18 without the Bachillerato may also enter by passing the test. The International Relations department coordinates Erasmus+. Incoming exchange students can apply for one semester or a full academic year through EASY Mobility Online; the application period runs from 7 January to 1 May 2027.

Grado in higher arts education in music, with these specialities:

- Production and Management
Symphony orchestra instruments include clarinet, double bass, bassoon, flute, oboe, percussion, saxophone, trombone, horn, trumpet, tuba, viola, violin and cello.
Graduate programmes
- Master's in Operatic Performance (Máster en Interpretación Operística): for solo opera singers, covering vocal technique, repertoire and stage performance, with two full opera productions; entrance tests held for 2026-27
- Official Master's in Higher Arts Education in Musical Performance and Performative Research: being phased out, no new intake
- School's own qualification (título propio) in woodwind instrument making (luthier de viento madera)
Admission
- Bachillerato, the university entrance exam for over-25s, a higher arts qualification, a university degree or a Técnico Superior qualification
- Plus a pass in the speciality-specific entrance test (prueba específica)
- Applicants aged 16 to 18 without these qualifications may enter by passing the specific test
