The Cours d'Été pour Étudiants Étrangers de Nancy (Summer Courses for Foreign Students) is a French summer school for international students in Nancy, France. It has run since 1930 and was created by an association of professors from the University of Lorraine and specialists in French as a foreign language. Courses are open to students, teachers and professionals at all levels.
The summer session lasts three weeks in July (29 June to 17 July in 2026), with at least 21 hours of lessons per week. Mornings (9:00 to 12:00) are French language classes in six CEFR levels from A1 to C2, assigned through a placement test. Afternoons (14:00 to 16:00) offer culture and civilisation courses, lectures in French and English, and themed language workshops. A final exam leads to a transcript and an attendance certificate issued by the summer courses, not by the university; students from partner universities can earn credits from this exam.
All-inclusive packages cover classes, a private room, meals (except at weekends), cultural activities and excursions, including a weekend in Paris and a day trip to Alsace. A courses-only option without accommodation is also available. Groups of at least 10 students can request a customised programme of one to two weeks, a teaching seminar for teachers or international trade courses taught in English.

Housing
The all-inclusive summer packages include a private room and meals; meals are not provided at weekends. Housing and breakfast during the Paris weekend are also included in the package. The courses-only package (Package C) does not include accommodation, meals or activities.
