École des Roches is an international boarding school in Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton, Normandy, France, founded in 1899. It occupies a 50-hectare campus, with direct trains from Paris Montparnasse to Verneuil-sur-Avre. The school works in partnership with École Jeannine Manuel and is a member of the Council of International Schools. It reports a 6:1 student-teacher ratio and students of more than 50 nationalities.

École des Roches is a full boarding school: all students on the school-year programmes live on campus, in five-day or seven-day boarding, across six historic boarding houses. More than 30 sporting, artistic and cultural activities are offered. Applicants submit an online application with recent school reports, a language assessment and a motivation letter; after admission, the school helps families with visa procedures, boarding arrangements and arrival.

Admission
- Online enquiry form, followed by an interview with the admissions team about the student's profile and the right programme
- Online application with recent school reports, a language assessment and the student's motivation letter
- Admission decision with a conditional offer and, if needed, a placement test
- Place confirmed by returning the signed enrolment contract and paying the registration fee
Mid-year admission is considered case by case, depending on available places.
Language requirements
In the French Baccalauréat and BFI track all academic teaching is in French, so students need a good working level of French on arrival. Students entering the IB Diploma Programme need strong written and spoken English. International students without enough French can start with the Français Langue Étrangère immersion programme.
Housing
École des Roches is a full boarding school: all students on school-year programmes live on campus, in six historic boarding houses. Families choose five-day boarding (Monday to Friday) or seven-day boarding. Fees include boarding and accommodation, all meals, standard activities, on-campus medical care and school insurance. Tutors and house leaders follow each student's well-being and progress, and the school organises airport and station transfers at the start and end of each term.
