SUNY Erie Community College (ECC) is a community college in western New York and part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. It has served students since 1946 and has three campus locations: the City Campus at 45 Oak Street, the North Campus at 6205 Main Street in Williamsville and the South Campus at 50 Cobham Drive. According to the college, 7,618 students were enrolled in 2023-24, and the student-to-faculty ratio is 16:1.
ECC offers more than 150 academic programmes, certificates, microcredentials and specialised programme concentrations, and some classes are available online. Besides the regular semesters, there are summer and winter sessions. Through the SUNY Reconnect programme, New York State residents aged 25 to 55 without a college degree can earn a free associate degree in fields such as advanced manufacturing, nursing and health professions, and teaching.
Financial aid includes grants and scholarships. International students pay an administration fee and health insurance in addition to tuition. For housing, the college publishes a list of off-campus options as a service, without inspecting or approving the premises.
