The Escola Oficial de Idiomas da Coruña (EOI da Coruña) is a public language school in A Coruña, Galicia, run by the regional education ministry of the Xunta de Galicia. It was established in the 1973-74 academic year. Its central site, in the Cidade Escolar area, teaches eleven languages: German, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish as a foreign language, French, Galician, English, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Japanese. The building has a cafeteria, library, auditorium and radio room, and the school has four extensions in Arteixo, Carballo, Cee and Culleredo.

Courses follow the Básico, Intermedio and Avanzado levels, which match levels A1 to C2 of the CEFR, and official courses lead to a certificate when the final exams of each level are passed. The Spanish department's current timetable has groups from A1 to C1, in the morning and in the evening, including intensive A1 and A2 groups that meet four days a week. Across the school, modalities include:

  • Face-to-face courses from September to June (120 hours, two days a week)
  • Integrated courses (two courses in one year) and four-month intensive courses
  • Blended courses with one classroom session a week
  • Distance learning, in English only, through That's English
  • External (libre) registration for certification exams

Classes for 2026-27 began in September 2026. New students pre-register online, and places are drawn by lot when demand exceeds supply.
