The Escola Oficial d'Idiomes de Calvià is an official language school in the municipality of Calvià, in the Balearic Islands. It teaches German, English, Catalan and Spanish.
Spanish is taught in classroom courses at CEFR levels A1, A2 and B1. Like the school's other face-to-face courses, each Spanish course has 120 teaching hours per academic year, from October to May or June, with classes of 2 hours 15 minutes twice a week (Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday), either from 16:45 to 19:00 or from 19:00 to 21:15. English is offered from A1 to C2, Catalan from A1 to C2 and German from A1 to B2.2, and blended (semipresencial) courses are available for English B2.2 and Catalan C2.
New students apply for a place through pre-enrolment (preinscripció) on the Gestib platform, for up to two languages. Applicants need a valid DNI or NIE and must be 16 or turn 16 in the year of enrolment, and anyone may apply regardless of where they live, study or work. Beginners start at Bàsic A1; others can show a certificate of the previous level or take a placement test, held in person for Spanish. For 2026-27, pre-enrolment ran from 4 to 12 June 2026.
