The Escola Oficial d'Idiomes d'Eivissa (EOI Eivissa) is the official language school of Ibiza, based in the Sa Blanca Dona secondary school building at Carrer Cas Raspallar 1, with a further centre in Formentera. Its departments cover German, English, Catalan, Spanish as a foreign language, French and Italian, and it also supports the That's English distance programme. The school publishes information in English for learners of Spanish and also runs Catalan for foreigners.
For 2026-27, the Spanish department timetable has groups at A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1, covering the basic, intermediate and advanced levels, with classes in the late afternoon and evening. Regular face-to-face courses consist of 120 teaching hours between October and May, in two sessions of 125 minutes a week, and the course fee includes the right to sit the exam. Intensive Spanish courses compress a level into one term: A1 from October to January and A2 from February to May, with four hours a week. Students are expected to attend at least 70% of classes.
Pre-registration for 2026-27 ran on the GESTIB platform from 4 to 12 June 2026, and enrolment stays open until 18 October while places remain, also for those who did not pre-register. Learners without a certificate who want to start above A1 take a placement test.
