Escuela de Danza Esther Recuero

The Escuela de Danza Esther Recuero is a dance school in Madrid. It opened in 1988 in premises on Calle San Delfín, and in 1995 the dancer and choreographer Esther Recuero, who had taught dance since 1982 in public and private schools, took over its management. Since September 1998 the school has occupied its current building at Calle del Coronel Valenzuela 3, a space of more than 400 square metres with four studios adapted for dance teaching.

• Modern dance: a preparatory course and five academic years combining classical ballet, jazz and urban styles such as hip-hop and house
• Flamenco: five courses leading to a diploma recognised by the Cátedra de Flamencología de Jerez
• Spanish dance: four elementary and three intermediate (professional) courses
• Classical ballet: elementary and intermediate (professional) grades

Classes are aimed both at students with professional ambitions and at people who dance for pleasure, with no age limit. Over the years many students have obtained qualifications in classical and Spanish dance through the exams held by the Conservatory, APDE and ACADE. The school's website announces that enrolment for the 2026/2027 year is open. The nearest metro stations are Marqués de Vadillo and Usera.
