Escuela Técnica de Joyería del Atlántico

The Escuela Técnica de Joyería del Atlántico is a jewellery school in Vigo (Pontevedra) that has trained jewellery professionals since 2001. It teaches jewellery making, design, stone setting and gemmology, and is located at Avenida del Puente 9, in a complex with 650 m² of classrooms and workshops. According to the school, more than 600 students from 20 countries have studied there.

• Official qualifications: Grado Superior en Joyería Artística and the two-year Grado Medio en Procedimientos de Joyería Artística
• University expert courses in Gemmology and in Synthetic and Treated Gems
• School-own qualifications: artisan and artistic jewellery, comprehensive jewellery training, stone setting and engraving, and jewellery design and illustration
• Double qualifications combining an official cycle with the comprehensive jewellery training, completed in three years
• Short specialised courses (cursos monográficos)

The school's own qualifications can be taken in person or in a blended format. Students take part in the school's group exhibitions and in national and international competitions, and the school organises cultural outings and visits to companies, museums, exhibitions and trade fairs.
