The Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Antonio Faílde (EASD Antonio Faílde) is a school of art and higher design in Ourense, Galicia, located on Avenida da Universidade 18 in A Cuña. It belongs to the network of Galician schools of art and higher design (EASD), and its higher design studies follow the curriculum set by the Galician government in Decree 172/2015.
The school awards the degree-level qualification in higher design education (título de grao) in two specialities:
- Graphic Design (Deseño Gráfico)
- Interior Design (Deseño de Interiores)
The degree includes external placements and a final project (Traballo Fin de Estudos). The school also offers professional vocational programmes in art and design leading to the Técnico/a Superior qualification, in Photography, Illustration and Artistic Cabinetmaking.
Admission to the design degrees is through an entrance test (proba específica) held at the Galician schools of art and design. For 2026-27, applications were made online at edu.xunta.gal/eas between 28 April and 5 June 2026, listing up to four choices of speciality and school; the test took place on 17 June. Admission
Admission to the design degrees follows a common procedure for all Galician schools of art and higher design, with an entrance test (proba específica). Applications are made online at edu.xunta.gal/eas, listing up to four choices of speciality and school in order of preference; a copy with the required documents is then handed in at the school given as first choice. For 2026-27 the application period ran from 28 April to 5 June 2026 and the test was held on 17 June, with extraordinary tests in early September if places remain.
