The Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño Fernando Estévez is a public school of art and higher school of design in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, run by the Canary Islands Ministry of Education and Universities. Teaching is in person, in morning and afternoon shifts.
Its highest-level programmes are the official bachelor's-level degrees in Design (Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Diseño), equivalent in all respects to a university bachelor's degree (EQF level 6). Each lasts four years with 240 ECTS credits, including three months of external placements and a final project. The specialities currently offered are:
- Graphic Design
- Fashion Design
- Interior Design
Graduates can go on to master's and doctoral studies. The school also teaches higher and intermediate vocational cycles in plastic arts and design (including animation, photography, illustration, ceramics and interactive graphics) and the arts Bachillerato.
Admission to the design degrees is by a specific entrance test; holders of a higher vocational qualification in plastic arts and design have direct access to a quota of places. Through Erasmus+, students can spend a study semester at partner institutions in the European Union.

Admission
Applicants with the Bachillerato (any modality, including Arts) must pass a specific entrance test; the PAU/EBAU result is not taken into account. Holders of a higher vocational qualification (CFGS) in plastic arts and design have direct access, limited to a quota of 25% of places when demand is high. Places are allocated by the test mark or, for direct access, by the average mark of the vocational cycle.
International applicants can enrol but need a Spanish residence permit, and foreign qualifications must be recognised.
Duration
Design degrees: 4 academic years, 240 ECTS credits, with three months of external placements and a final project in the second semester of year 4.
