The Escola Oficial d'Idiomes de Sagunt is a public language school run by the education department of the Valencian Community, located on Avenida Fausto Caruana in Sagunt. It offers official courses and recognised certificates in German, Italian, French, English and Valencian, as well as Spanish as a foreign language (español lengua extranjera), taught by its own Spanish department.
The school's courses are offered in classroom, blended (semipresencial) and distance formats, and it also runs complementary courses of 30 or 60 hours, in class or at a distance. A branch in Massamagrell teaches English. The Spanish department can be contacted at [email protected].
Places are requested online through the Adminova platform; for 2026-27 the application period ran from 18 June to 3 July 2026, with enrolment in July. Applicants can list up to three languages and their preferred timetables. Those who do not want to start from scratch take a placement test or present a certificate of their level. Foreign students who want to study Spanish or Valencian may enrol from age 14 if they have attended school in the Valencian education system for the previous two years, and a summary of the enrolment process is available in French, English, Russian and Arabic.

Admission
- Age 16, or turning 16 in the year studies begin (14 for a language other than the first foreign language at secondary school)
- Foreign students of Spanish or Valencian: from 14, if schooled in the Valencian education system for the previous two years
- A language other than the official language of the country where the applicant completed compulsory schooling
- Placement test or certificate to start above beginner level
For 2026-27, places were requested on Adminova from 18 June to 3 July 2026, results were published on 10 July and enrolment ran from 10 to 24 July 2026. Documents: passport-size photo, valid DNI/NIE and the paid fee form (046).
