The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Motril is a public official language school in Motril, on the Costa Tropical of Granada province (Andalusia), run by the Junta de Andalucía's education department and aimed mainly at adults. Founded in 1990, it describes itself as the oldest official language school in the province. Its students come from Motril and other towns of the Costa Tropical.

The school teaches four languages, German, Spanish, French and English, in official classroom courses, blended (semi-presencial) courses, refresher groups for teachers (CAL) and the free-candidate modality (modalidad libre); English also has CAPE specialisation courses. Official certificates cover Nivel Básico A2, Intermedio B1 and B2, and Avanzado C1, with C2 only in English.

In the 2026-27 year the Spanish department offers first and second year of Nivel Básico, Nivel Intermedio B1 and first year of Nivel Intermedio B2, all in the classroom modality. Official courses run from September to June with 4.5 hours of teaching a week in two sessions of 2 hours 15 minutes. The building has 13 classrooms, a resource room, an assembly hall and a library, and the school runs a yearly programme of cultural events. Places for the following year are requested in May.

Admitted newcomers can take a placement test, where places allow, or present language certificates to start above first-year Nivel Básico. Ordinary enrolment runs from 1 to 10 July, preferably through the Junta de Andalucía's Secretaría Virtual.
