The Escuela Superior de Arte del Principado de Asturias (ESAPA) is a public school of higher arts education in Avilés, Asturias, founded in 2002. It teaches only higher arts studies (Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores) in two fields, design and the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, all leading to the Título de Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores within the European Higher Education Area. The school describes this as an official qualification with the value of a university bachelor's degree.

Design is taught at the Palacio de Camposagrado in the historic centre of Avilés, and restoration at a second site near the Centro Niemeyer. Groups have up to 20 students in theory subjects and up to 10 in practical ones. Admission is by a specific entrance test for holders of the Bachillerato or the over-25 university entrance exam, or by direct access with a higher diploma in arts and design. The school takes part in Erasmus+ and welcomes exchange students for a semester; classes are in Spanish.

Programmes
Título de Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores, in two fields:
- Design: Graphic Design, Product Design
- Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage: Graphic Documents, Sculpture, Painting
Study plans date from 2010. Groups have up to 20 students in theory subjects and at most 10 in practical subjects.
Admission
There are three ways into the school:
- A specific entrance test, different for Design and Restoration, open to holders of the Bachillerato or of a pass in the over-25 university entrance exam
- Direct access for holders of the Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño diploma, within a limited quota of places
- Transfer from another school teaching the same studies
Each year there is at least one test call for Design and one for Restoration in June, with further tests in September if places remain. Erasmus+ students from EU partner institutions send an application form, learning agreement, motivation letter, transcript, CV, passport copy and, for design, a portfolio to the Erasmus office.
Language requirements
All classes are taught in Spanish. During their first month, Erasmus students can take an intensive Spanish course.
Deadlines
Erasmus+ incoming students: winter semester (September to January), apply by 15 June; spring semester (February to June), apply by 1 December.
