The Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Castilla-La Mancha (ESAD CLM) is a public higher drama school in Cuenca. It opened on 1 September 2022 and teaches the Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Arte Dramático, a degree-level qualification in Drama, in the speciality of Interpretación (Acting). The school states that further studies, including postgraduate ones, are planned and will be added gradually.

Admission requires the Bachillerato or the university entrance exam for people over 25, plus a specific entrance exam in four parts: analysis of a dramatic text, and practical tests of movement, voice and acting.

ESAD CLM has held the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE 2021-2027) since its first year, and its students and staff can take part in Erasmus+ mobility with partner schools in the European Union. Incoming Erasmus students need Spanish at B1 level; the school can put them in touch with the University of Castilla-La Mancha or other institutions for Spanish courses.

Language requirements

Incoming Erasmus students must prove Spanish at B1 level (language certificate or official statement). The school can put them in touch with the University of Castilla-La Mancha or other institutions for Spanish courses.

Housing

The school does not offer housing. Its international relations department can give incoming students information about student residences and rented flats.
