FEDELE (Federación Española de Asociaciones de Escuelas de Español para Extranjeros)

FEDELE (Federación Española de Asociaciones de Escuelas de Español para Extranjeros) is the Spanish federation of associations of schools that teach Spanish as a foreign language. It is not a school itself: it brings together about a hundred language schools across Spain. All member schools are accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and follow FEDELE's Quality Charter, an internal set of rules based on international standards of good practice in teaching Spanish.

On its website, students can search the member schools by city or by the exams they offer. Many of the schools prepare students for the DELE, the CCSE (Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain) and the SIELE exam. Member schools also run training programmes for teachers of Spanish, and the federation's online Campus FEDELE offers free training for the sector.

FEDELE publishes annual reports on the Spanish-as-a-foreign-language sector in Spain, economic studies of language tourism and studies of student profiles. Its central office is in Málaga, and students can contact it about any problem that arises during their studies.
