Hansa Language Centre is a language school in midtown Toronto, Canada, founded in 1969. Its campus on Yonge Street is steps from Eglinton subway station. The school is recognised by Languages Canada and the MTCU, and its full-time students are eligible for student visa authorisation. According to the school, it teaches more than 3,000 students a year.
Hansa offers around 300 English classes a day for all levels, in person or online, and students choose their own classes and timetable under its "Flexible Learning System". Programmes include:
- General English, evening and private classes
- IELTS, TOEFL and CELPIP exam preparation
- English for Academic Purposes
- Teacher training
- Courses in other languages, such as French, Spanish, German and Mandarin
New students take a placement test and an interview with a counsellor, and evening students can start any Monday. Hansa has links with more than a dozen Canadian high schools, colleges and universities for students who want to continue their studies. It organises trips, sports and social activities, and arranges homestays with Canadian families, with a private room and breakfast and dinner every day.

Families are selected and visited regularly by the school's staff. The first four weeks of homestay are paid in advance and are non-refundable; after the first month students may move, giving the family three weeks' notice. For students who prefer not to live with a family, the school lists student residences, hostels and other options in Toronto that operate independently of Hansa.
