The Instituto de Estudios de la Lengua Española (IELE) is a school of Spanish as a foreign language in the centre of Seville, founded in 1996. It teaches all levels, from A1 to C2, throughout the year, with native-speaker teachers and small groups; the general course has a maximum of ten students per class.
- General Spanish (15 hours per week)
- Intensive Spanish (20 hours per week, starting every Monday)
- Business Spanish (combined course with 5 hours of business Spanish per week)
- DELE exam preparation
- Grammar review and Spanish culture and civilisation courses
- Spanish and flamenco (15 hours of Spanish and 4 hours of flamenco)

- Tailor-made courses for school, university and company groups
The school organises cultural activities. It does not book accommodation itself, but it advises students and puts them in touch with trusted providers of host families, with half or full board, and student residences.

Housing
IELE does not book accommodation directly, but it advises students and puts them in touch with trusted providers, for a management fee of €65 per person; rent is paid directly to the provider. Options are:
- Host families in Seville, with half or full board
- Student residences with wifi, laundry and kitchen, in areas well connected to the centre
- Shared flats or rooms found independently through platforms such as Idealista or Spotahome
Most options are in or near the city centre. The school recommends requesting accommodation three to four weeks in advance.
