The University of New Orleans is a medium-sized public university, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. It is a member of the University of Louisiana System, and the Intensive English Language Program it has designed is considered among the most diverse ones within the country. The program is structured in a way that assists non-native English speakers gain the skills needed to continue their education in an American university. The program is well-suited for those, who wish to gain English language knowledge for personal and professional reasons, too. Staff are greatly committed to helping students adapt to the lifestyle in the USA, introducing them to Louisiana culture. Since the founding of the program in 1995, students from over 120 different countries have taken the advantage to improve their English language writing, reading, speaking, and listening at IELP.
