International House Dublin (IH Dublin) is an English language school in Dublin city centre, Ireland, a few minutes from the main attractions, shops and transport. It was founded in 1998 and belongs to International House, a worldwide organisation of English language schools. The school lists ACELS, Eaquals and Bildungsurlaub among its accreditations and has been authorised by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) to use the TrustEd Ireland Quality Mark. Its students come from more than 50 countries.
Adult courses run all year and cover General English, Business English, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation, one-to-one lessons and a Young at Heart programme for students aged 50 and over. Other programmes include:
- Summer camps for ages 9-17 and young adult courses for ages 16-19
- Work and Study for non-EU students, from 6 months up to 2 years
- Internships for EU students
- Erasmus+ courses for teachers and professionals
- Cambridge CELTA teacher training
- High school placement in Ireland and ministay programmes for groups
Teachers hold the CELTA qualification. The school can arrange homestay accommodation or a single en-suite room in a city-centre student residence (18 and over), and its staff give information on visa support.
