We offer 9 courses for all different levels: from Basic to Advanced Level. An approriate level is assessed for the individual by means of a written placement test which takes place on Tuesday, 03/08/2010. We aim to form groups of students with similar language skills and with no more than 15 participants in each level.

Fees: € 625,- (Euro) The course fee includes the language course, the teaching material and the extracurricular activities. Boarding and lodging are not included. (A room in a student residence costs € 195.)

20 partial grants for students from Central Eastern Europe /Eastern Europe /Central Asia: They can apply for a grant of € 150 (euro). This means they have to pay only € 475 instead of € 625. Upon request we will arrange housing for you in a plain single bedroom in a student dormitory. A room in a student residence costs € 195.

The language course alone consists of a total of 72 lessons (each 45 minutes long). Lessons take place Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 10:30 and from 11:00 to 12:30. These 72 lessons are compulsory for all participants who want to gain a certificate in the end of the course. In the afternoons, participants can join optional tutorials to further practise their speaking, writing and pronunciation skills (in a playful manner): - Conversation (4 x 2 lessons, five different levels for basic to advanced level) - Creative Writing (4 x 2 lessons, two different groups: basic level and intermediate & advanced level) - Phonetics in Song (4 x 2 lessons) In the afternoons and evenings, Monday to Friday, cultural and social events take place: such as film evenings, sport events, cooking aktivities, folklore dances or a guided town walk. Participants can present their home countries on so-called “international cultural evenings”. There will also be hike> to a look-out tower and a picnic and sports festival afterwards. Furthermore, we will go on three excursions to various points of interest in the further vicinity.
