Jacksonville University (JU) is a private university in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Its riverfront campus lies in the historic Arlington neighbourhood, with a half-mile stretch along the St. Johns River, about 20 minutes from the ocean. JU has offered undergraduate education for more than 80 years and describes itself as a traditional, campus-based institution where most classes are taught in person.

The university has more than 50 majors, minors and pre-professional programmes, with opportunities for undergraduate research. Teaching is organised in three colleges:

• Linda Berry Stein College of Arts & Sciences
• Davis College of Business & Technology, including the School of Aviation & Military Sciences
• Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences, including the Keigwin School of Nursing

JU also offers master's and doctoral degrees in fields ranging from public policy to nursing, as well as dual master's degree programmes. With the PODs (Pathways of Distinction) app, students can combine majors and minors into their own study path.

The Office of Admissions handles applications from first-year, transfer, graduate and international students. Freshman and transfer applicants are automatically considered for an academic scholarship, and the university states that its students receive more than $67 million a year in scholarships and grants. Students can apply for on-campus housing.
