McMaster University is a university based in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada), with faculties of Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences, plus graduate studies. In the applicant portal they complete a checklist: submitting documents, any supplementary applications and proof of English proficiency (official scores sent directly by the testing centre). Exemptions may be granted, for example after four years of full-time study in an English-speaking country. Applicants just below the scores can be admitted conditionally through the MELD diploma (one year) or the STEP summer programme. Graduate applicants follow the School of Graduate Studies requirements.
