The National University of Samoa (NUS) is a university in Samoa, established in 1984 by an Act of Parliament. In its present form it dates from 8 March 2006, when it merged with the Samoa Polytechnic. The main campus, Le Papaigalagala in To'omatagi, was built with grant assistance from the government of Japan; there are further campuses at Moto'otua, Mulinu'u and on Savai'i. Its courses are coded as belonging either to Mountainside or to Oceanside programmes.

Postgraduate programmes include diplomas and master's degrees. According to the university, 38 of its programmes are accredited by the Samoa Qualifications Authority, including the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and the Master of Education.
