Regia Ferani is a school of history, decorative arts and antiques. It began more than three decades ago with classroom teaching and, since the pandemic, has become a fully online school that teaches live classes through Microsoft Teams. The courses are aimed at people who love history, art and antiques, and no previous knowledge is needed.
- History of Furniture from the 15th to the 20th century (French, English and Spanish furniture)
- History of the Decorative Arts: ceramics, glass, miniatures and goldsmithing
- History of Civilisations, eastern and western, from the Neolithic to globalisation
- History of the European Royal Houses of France, England and Spain since the 15th century
- History of the World's Religions, starting with Judaism, Christianity and Islam
Each class lasts about 1 hour 45 minutes, and courses run over 6 to 9 months depending on the programme. Classes take place from Monday to Friday, each course on its own timetable, and can be followed on a computer, tablet or mobile phone. There is no enrolment fee; a place is reserved by paying for the course in advance.
