Sabia Nova is a small private school in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, about 20 minutes from Madrid, at Avenida Pilar Miró 84. It is registered as a foreign school that teaches the Panamanian education system, whose certificates are recognised by the state of Panama. Its authorised school code is 28082009.

The school describes its approach as an alternative to the traditional system: a flexible curriculum adapted to each student's pace, level and needs, with an emphasis on learning how to study independently, reading, creativity and sport. Each student moves on to a new topic only once the previous one is understood, and gaps in earlier learning are filled first. The teachers state more than 20 years of experience in mainstream and special education schools.

  • Preschool education (two years, ages 4 and 5)
  • Primary education (six years, ages 6 to 11)
  • Premedia (three years, ages 12 to 14)

All classes are face-to-face and held during the day. Admission for the 2026-27 school year starts with an initial interview that assesses the child's level in mathematics, Spanish language and English.

Admission Requirements

Admissions for the 2026-27 school year are open. Families request information by email or phone and are invited to an initial interview, in which the school assesses the child's level in mathematics, Spanish language and English and explains its study system. Students are then brought up to the level required by the curriculum of the year they will join.
