Saltsjöbadens Samskola

Saltsjöbadens Samskola, usually called Samskolan, is a compulsory school (grundskola) in Saltsjöbaden. As its full name Samskola F9 indicates, it covers the preschool class and years 1 to 9, so pupils can spend ten years at the school. The school describes itself as an accredited school; its homepage does not name the accrediting body.

Samskolan is a research school (forskande skola) within Lärarakademin and takes student teachers for their teaching placements. It also takes part in Erasmus+: in spring 2026 it organised a trip to Barcelona for pupils from years 6 to 8.

Places are applied for through the school choice process (skolval). The school holds open days and information meetings for parents and pupils who plan to apply; the most recent one took place on 15 January 2026. School transport is applied for online through the education unit.
