Shoreless Lake School (SLS) is a private, non-profit American Catholic boarding school in Totana, in the Region of Murcia, inspired by the educational mission of the Society of Jesus Christ the Priest. It is authorised as a foreign private school in Spain, is owned by the Asociación "Mar sin Orillas" and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA).
Students follow a US college-preparatory curriculum, equivalent to Spanish compulsory and post-compulsory secondary education and supplemented with Spanish language and culture. All students take the PSAT, SAT Reasoning and AP exams, and those applying to Spanish universities sit the Spanish university entrance exam. The school aims for graduates to be fluent in English and Spanish and to have a sound knowledge of Latin.
The main campus, La Isla, is in Totana; at weekends and in holidays boarders stay at the El Pedregal student centre in Mazarrón, near the Mediterranean coast. SLS has welcomed students from abroad since 1998 and offers two pathways for international students:
- One-year International Student Mobility Program for ESO-age students (typically 12-16) from partner schools
- Bachillerato studies for students aged 16 and over, usually over two years
SLS issues the documents families need for the Spanish student visa or authorisation; the visa decision rests with the Spanish authorities.

Admission
International students can join through two routes:
- International Student Mobility Program: one school year for ESO-age students (typically 12-16) from schools that have a bilateral mobility agreement with SLS
- Bachillerato studies for students aged 16 or over: academic record from the school of origin, proof of equivalence with the Spanish Bachillerato (handled by the Spanish Ministry of Education) and an admission interview
SLS issues the documents for the visa application; the visa decision rests with the Spanish consular and immigration authorities.
Housing
SLS is a boarding school. During the school week students live at the La Isla campus in Totana; at weekends and in holidays they stay at the El Pedregal student centre in Mazarrón, a few metres from the Mediterranean, which has sleeping quarters, recreation areas, the main library, a study centre and a chapel. International students also receive ASISA health insurance.
