Studio Italiano is a centre for Italian language services in Tropea, in Calabria in southern Italy. Besides Italian courses, it offers recreational and well-being activities for guests on temporary summer stays, and logistical and bureaucratic support for people planning to live in Calabria for a longer period, with particular attention to remote workers.

Teaching follows a communicative and situational approach. The school currently offers only private lessons, held at the student's accommodation in Tropea or outdoors, for example at a café:

• One-to-one or two-to-one courses for all levels from A1 to C2, from one week, with topics such as exam preparation or business Italian
• Conversation sessions of 75 minutes for levels B1 to C2, for one to three students
• Online lessons via Skype, Zoom or other platforms, with the same teachers

For accommodation, the school helps students find independent private apartments, B&Bs or boutique hotels, all within a short walk of the school.

All courses are private and take place on site in Tropea; the teacher comes to the student's accommodation, which must be in the town.

• Private course, one-to-one or two-to-one: levels A1 to C2, at least 10 lessons a week (two 50-minute units a day, Monday to Friday), minimum one week
• Conversation: levels B1 to C2, three 75-minute sessions, for one to three students
• Online classes: at least 10 lessons of two 50-minute units, schedule agreed with the teacher

The school helps students find accommodation for every budget:

• Independent private apartments, fully equipped, in the town centre or by the sea; suited to couples, small groups and medium or long stays
• B&Bs, boutique hotels, resorts or farmhouses, some with half board, within a 5 to 15 minute walk of the school
