TANDEM Köln is a language school in the Südstadt district of Cologne, Germany, at Rolandstraße 57. It is part of the TANDEM network of language schools, which supports individual and autonomous language learning through partnership, and teaches in small groups.
- Intensive German courses, held in the mornings all year round at all levels and suitable for a visa application
- Evening German courses twice a week (18:30-21:00), for 12 or 4 weeks
- Exam preparation for telc German (A1 to B2), telc C1 Hochschule and TestDaF
- Grammar and conversation courses and private German lessons
- English, Business English, Spanish, French and Italian courses
Students with some German can join a running course at any time after a placement test. A cultural programme runs at least once a week, and up to three times a week in summer. The school can find students a room in private accommodation with local families or in shared flats, or, subject to availability, a room or small apartment in the TANDEM flat on the third floor of the school building. It also arranges TANDEM language exchanges with a partner.

TANDEM Köln can find students a room in private accommodation with local hosts: families, couples, individuals or shared flats. Guests can use the kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and Wi-Fi, and bed linen and towels are provided. Rooms are no more than 45 minutes from the school. Subject to availability, the school also rents four single rooms (14-17 m2) with a shared kitchen and bathroom, and two furnished small apartments (18 and 30 m2) with their own bathroom and kitchenette, in the TANDEM flat on the third floor of the school building. Early booking is recommended.
