The Abdul Hamid Sharaf School (AHSS) is a private, coeducational K-12 day school in Amman, Jordan, founded in 1980. It is located in the Deir Ghbar neighbourhood of West Amman, across the street from Amman Martyr's Park, and serves international, local and bicultural students. The main language of instruction for core subjects is English.
In the upper grades, students follow one of two systems:
- American High School Diploma, accredited through Cognia, with AP classes
- British system: IGCSE in grades 9-10 and international A-levels in grades 11-12, accredited through Cambridge International Education
The American programme is aimed mainly at students heading to American universities, and both streams can be equated with the Jordanian Tawjihi diploma required for Jordanian colleges and universities. Subjects include Arabic, Spanish, sciences, mathematics and history.
Applicants submit documents such as a birth certificate, passport pages, previous school marks and a transfer certificate; non-Jordanians also need a one-year residence permit, and foreign certificates must be certified by the relevant authorities. For the 2026/2027 school year, annual tuition ranges from 1,650 JD in kindergarten to 4,630 JD in grades 11-12 of the American programme. Families can arrange a school visit.
