The College of Idaho is a private liberal arts college in Caldwell, Idaho (United States), founded in 1891 and described by the college as the state's first private liberal arts college. It has over 1,100 students and lies in the Treasure Valley, 30 minutes from Boise.
Undergraduate majors and minors are grouped into four sectors: health and scientific research; law, policy and the public sector; the creative sector; and business and technology. Students take four classes per term in a four-day week and can earn a bachelor's and a master's degree in four years. Graduate programmes include master's degrees in public policy, education, organisational leadership, data analytics, accountancy and exercise science, and an online Doctor of Medical Science.
According to the college, international students make up roughly 15% of the student body and come from more than 65 countries. Courses are taught in English, so applicants must prove English proficiency, for example with TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo results; admission is test-optional for ACT and SAT. International applicants apply through the Common App or the college's own application and submit a Certification of Finances. Unmarried students without dependent children live in campus housing for three years, in seven residence halls or on-campus apartments.
