The University College of Bahrain (UCB) is a non-profit private higher education institution in Al Janabiyah, Kingdom of Bahrain, founded in 2002 by Shaikh Prof. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. It holds institutional accreditation from Bahrain's Higher Education Council (HEC), granted in March 2024 for four years. It also holds the QAA International Institutional Accreditation from the UK Quality Assurance Agency, which has accredited its MBA programme as well. UCB is recognised by Jordan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received a quality assurance certificate from Jordan's AQACHEI in 2022 and has been on the Saudi Ministry of Education's list of recommended institutions since January 2023.

Teaching is organised in three subject areas:

  • Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Islamic Finance, Management and Marketing
  • Information Technology (B.Sc.)
  • Communication and Multimedia

The Business Administration programme includes an internship with companies and institutions in the Gulf region, and an MBA is offered at graduate level. Undergraduate and master's applications are submitted through the website, where admission is open for Fall of the 2026-2027 academic year. The university office is open Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 to 16:00.

Programmes

  • Business Administration, with a choice of five concentrations: Accounting, Finance, Islamic Finance, Management and Marketing
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Technology
  • Communication and Multimedia

The Business Administration programme moves from introductory to specialised courses and includes an internship with companies and institutions in the Gulf region.
