Youth For Understanding (YFU) is a non-profit international educational organization, established in 1951. It prides itself with the fact that it is one of world’s oldest, largest, and most respected exchange organizations, and currently organizes programs in 64 countries. YFU USA operates the Youth For Understanding programs in the United States, pursuing the aim to prepare young people for the challenges they will be facing in a globalized world. The institution has formed partnerships with governments, corporations, foundations, schools, and educators worldwide to create worldwide learning opportunities. YFU strives to encourage international understanding and world peace. Youth For Understanding differentiates from the others with the thorough preparation and support provided for each of the programs.
