The Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth and Energy Technology is a four-year undergraduate program designed for students planning to pursue a career in the clean energy industry.  The program is now being offered by colleges and universities throughout the country and the world, and the while the coursework in the program does address renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and water power, the majority of the degree revolves around the basic theory and fundamental applications of nuclear radiation and power generation.  Students in the program are trained and prepared to become successful candidates for jobs in renewable energy, or to take positions as either radiation protection technicians or licensed nuclear operators.
 
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth and Energy Technology is a multi-disciplinary course of study, one that involves mathematics, science and technology, as well as opportunities for practical experience and laboratory research.  Students who graduate from the program are eligible to pursue entry-level positions in the energy industry and/or enroll in a graduate study program to augment their knowledge and experience.

To be eligible to enroll in the Bachelor of Science Degree program in Earth and Energy Technology students must possess at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, demonstrating a strong aptitude in mathematics and science.  Many colleges and universities also require students to earn a passing score on an entrance examination prior to being considered for admission into the institution.
